Baptism Cupcake Toppers

I was thinking about a simple way to decorate for that special birthday when they turn 8, and this was the result! Simple cupcake toppers that celebrate the event while keeping it focused on the spirit of what's taking place.




I ended up doing four pages to feature the four colors: green, silver, pink, and blue. Each page is fully sized to print as an 8.5x11 page - this allows each topper to be 2 inches. A pdf file may be easier to work with for this particular project - but I've not saved files from my own blog before and am not sure if it's necessary.

Mesa, AZ Temple -- I love to see the temple

My husband and I were married in the Mesa, AZ temple. With the extra encouragement this past General Conference to put a picture of the temple in every room, I thought of a way to do this. As I enjoy creating things on the computer - I took a picture of the mesa temple, took out the background, made it a silhouette, and created this printable. "I Love to See the Temple" is not only a favorite and beautiful song, but a beautiful reminder as well. Remembering My Baptismal Covenants

With one daughter already baptized and one getting ready to be baptized in a few short months, I wanted a way for them to review and remember the covenants they were making. Every Sunday covenants can be renewed as we worthily partake of the sacrament. I wanted to help them focus on what they promise and what is promised in return. Having just started a new year, this month's Ensign came with a challenge: to live the Abundant Life all year long.
